Palak (spinach) – 100 gm
Potato – 1 medium size (Peel and chop into small pieces)
Onion – 2 medium size (finely chopped)
Tomato – 1 big (finely chopped)
Crushed ginger & garlic – 2 tsp
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder – ½ tsp (or as per your taste)
Green chilli – 2 no (finely chopped)
Salt as per your taste
Oil – 3 tbsp
Friends lets’ make this quick palak aur aloo ki sabji. Heat a pan, add oil into it. After oil becomes heat add cumin seeds and green chilli. Fry for 10 seconds then add chopped onion and fry the onion for 2-3 minutes on high flame. Then add crushed ginger and garlic and fry for 1-2 minutes on medium flame. After that add chopped tomato and mix it for 2-3 minutes or till tomato becomes a little soft. Then add chopped potato, turmeric powder red chilli powder and salt. Here we mix all the ingredients very well and cook the potato for 3-4 minutes on low flame by covering the lid of the pan.
When potato becomes cooked nicely add chopped palak and mix all the ingredients very well. Now cook the palak by covering the lid for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Chatpata Bhindi is not a regular bhindi recipe. I am telling this because here I am using mustard paste for making the gravy. But believe me friends this gives a really very good taste.
Bhindi – 20 no ( each bhindi cut into 2/3 pieces according to the size)
Tomato – 2 medium (cut into pieces)
Mustard paste – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Panch phoran – ¼ tsp
Green chilli – 1
Curry leaves – 10-15
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Salt as per taste
Heat a pan and add oil into it. After oil becomes heat add panch phoran, green chilli, curry leaves and then add chopped bhindi. Friends don’t cut the bhindi very smaller pieces. It doesn’t affect the taste but size of the vegetables gives a nice look. Cut them in one inch or one and half inch. After that fry the bhindi for 2-3 minutes on medium to high flame.
After 3 minutes, add chopped tomato, turmeric powder and salt as per taste. Now fry them very well. Fry all the ingredients till tomato becomes a little soft. After tomato becomes a little soft add mustard paste, 1 cup of water and now mix all the ingredients very well.
Cook them by covering the lid on low flame for 2-3 minutes or till bhindi completely cooked. After bhindi cooked completely and gravy becomes a little thick turn off the gas. So our chatpata bhindi is ready to serve. This recipe is best to serve with the combination of rice. In short, you enjoy this recipe only with rice.

Hi friends, I am always trying to share easy and quick recipes with you. Today I am presenting a very easy and quick recipe, which makes your cooking easier. So without wasting your time let’s start the super easy recipe which I named as Grated Potato Fry.
4 medium size potatoes
Oil 2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/6 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/6 tsp
Chilli powder ¼ tsp
Chicken masala ½ tsp
Salt as per your taste
Chopped Coriander leaves 1 tsp
Take a big utensil, add 2 glass of water. After that peel the potatoes and then grate them in the bowl with water, or you can also grate them and immediately add into water. This step is important because potato changes its colour if we don’t add them into water. After that squeeze the excess water from the grated potatoes and keep aside.
Heat a pan, add oil into it. When oil becomes heat, add mustard seeds and then add squeezed grated potatoes. After that fry the potato a little and then add salt as per your taste and add turmeric powder, mix well and cover the lid. Cook them for 1-2 minutes in low flame. During the cooking process mix them in between by uncover the lid. After 2 minutes add red chilli powder, chicken masala and chopped coriander leaves.
Now mix all the ingredients very well and fry the potato for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. After that fry the potato in a regular interval of 30-45 seconds. Finally when potato cooked nicely switch off the gas. Now the grated potato fry is ready to serve. Most importantly serve this recipe with roti and paratha and enjoy with your family and friends.

4 boiled eggs
1 boiled potato (cut into 4 pieces)
2 onions finely chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1 big tomato finely chopped
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp oil
Salt as per your taste
1 tsp chicken masala
½ tsp sambar masala
¼ tsp garam masala
So friends to make this recipe first heat a pan. After that add oil 1 tsp and fry the boiled eggs for 1-2 minutes. When egg becomes golden brown in colour remove them from pan and keep in a plate. So here we add the remaining oil into the pan and let it becomes heat. After oil becomes heat add finely chopped onions and fry them for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
So when the onion fried properly or becomes light golden brown in colour put the gas on low flame. When oil becomes a little cool add red chilli powder and turmeric powder. After that mix them nicely and then immediately add ginger and garlic paste. After that fry all the masala very well on low to medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
So after frying the masala for 1-2 minutes add chopped tomato, salt as per your taste and fry those all for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame. After that add chicken masala and sambar masala and nicely cook for 1 minute. When masala frying is completely done means oil leaves the side of the pan add boiled potato and fried eggs into it.
After that we fry all the ingredients for 1-2 minutes on low to medium flame. Finally add garam masala then mix well and switch off the gas. Finally our egg masala fry is ready to serve.

Garam masala – ½ tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp

Chopped Coriander leaf – 1 tbsp
For making this Dum Aloo recipe first we have to boil the potato. After boiling the potato, let it cool, then peel it and then cut into smaller pieces. Now make a paste of the tomato without water and keep aside. After that finely chop the onion and keep aside.
Now heat a pan, add oil and let the oil becomes heat. After that add finely chopped onion and fry on medium flame for 3-4 minutes or till the onion becomes light golden brown in colour. After onion changes its colour put the gas on low flame. Let the oil cool a little and then add kashmiri red chilli powder and immediately add ginger garlic paste and fry the masala for 2 minutes on low to medium flame. After that add tomato paste, turmeric powder and mix well.
So here we fry the tomato on medium flame for 2-3 minutes or till oil leaves the sides of the pan. After masala frying is completely done add dry spices like chicken masala, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix very well for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.
After that add boiled and chopped potato and mix them very well with masala for 1-2 minutes. Now add 1 cup of water and mix well. If you like more gravy, add more water according to your choice. Here add 2 tbsp of mashed potato. Gravy becomes thicker when we add mashed potato. After that, boil it for 4-5 minnutes. Now we are going to add garam masala and coriander leaf and now turn off the gas. Finally our dum aloo is ready to serve. Tomato & Dates Chutney sounds different but friends believe me this is a very tasty recipe. This recipe is specially made by my husband. Once you try this delicious dish, you are going to fall in love with this.
Tomato – 250 gm
Dates – 300 gm
Ginger paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Sugar – 5 tbsp
Roasted fenugreek (methi) powder – 1/5 tsp or 2-3 pinch
Salt as per taste
Green chilli – 2 no (cut into 2 pieces)
Bay leaf – 1 no
Panch Phoran – ¼ tsp
Tamarind pulp – 3 tbsp (soak 1 tsp tamarind with 3 tbsp water, mash nicely, strain and then use)
Milk – ½ cup
Jaiphal powder – 1 pinch
To make this tomato & dates chutney, take a bowl, add roughly chopped tomato without seeds and add turmeric powder. Mix very well and rest for 10 minutes. Soak the dates in water for 15 minutes. Now heat a pan, add oil and let the oil becomes heat then add panch phoran, green chillies, bay leaf and ginger paste, fry for 30 seconds then add marinated tomato. Here we fry the tomato for 5 minutes on high flame. Now add soaked dates and salt as per taste.
Now mix all the ingredients nicely and continuously fry them for 8-10 minutes on medium to high flame or fry till tomato becomes soft. After that add milk and sugar and fry till it becomes dry and dark colour or reddish. Now add tamarind paste and mix all for 2 minutes then switch off the gas. After that add fenugreek powder and jaiphal powder and mix all the ingredients very well. Finally our tomato & dates chutney is ready to serve. This Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani Recipe is very delicious. This is the special recipe of my husband. If you follow the cooking process of this biryani you get a super tasty biryani at the end and believe me surely you will forget the hotel biryani. So friends let’s begin the recipe.
Chicken – 500 gm
Biryani rice – 300 gm
Sahi Biryani masala – 2 tsp
Whole spices list
(Used in chicken gravy and final tadka)
Cinnamon stick – 2 inch
Bay leaf – 4 no
Clove – 4 no
Black paper – 4 no
Cardamom – 1
Sahi jeera – ½ tsp
Masala for chicken gravy
Onion – 200 gm (4 medium sized)
Ginger and garlic paste – 4 tbsp
Tomato – 1 medium sized
Chicken masala – 1 tsp
Black paper powder – ¼ tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
Oil – 150 ml
Mix the below powder masala with 1 cup of water
Chicken masala – 2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Friends when make the Chicken Dum Biryani first we make the pre arrangement.
Take a bowl, add 1 cup water, 2 tsp chicken masala, 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp cumin powder. Now mix it very well and keep aside for further use.
Marinate the chicken
Take a bowl, add nicely washed chicken, 2 tsp curd(dahi), 1 tsp oil, ½ tsp salt (rest we will add while cook the chicken), ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp lemon juice. Now mix all the ingredients nicely and rest for 1 hour.
Boiling the rice
Boil enough water for cook the rice. Add nicely washed rice, 4 bay leaves, 2 cardamom, 4 inch cinnamon stick, 2 star flower, jaitri, 4 green chillies, ¼ cup pudina, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar. Now cook the rice till it becomes cooked 85% then strain all the water nicely.
Method for chicken gravy
let’s start the gravy for the Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. Heat a pan, add oil and let the oil becomes heat. After that, add ½ tsp of sugar. When sugar changes to red colour and create bubbles immediately add whole spices listed above then add chopped onion. Fry the onion till it becomes light brown in colour or cooked 65%. After that put the flame on low and add red chilli powder and then add ginger and garlic paste. Now fry all the ingredients for 5-7 minutes in medium flame. After that, add tomato and then salt as per your taste. Remember that we add salt ½ tsp while marinate the chicken.
Now fry all the ingredients for around 5 minutes or till the tomato becomes soft and cooked nicely. After that add the **masala paste and fry the masla by covering the lid.for around 5-7 minutes or till oil leaves the sides of the pan. When masala was completely cooked add the marinated chicken and mix very well. After that add 1 tsp chicken masala powder, ¼ tsp black paper powder and cook the chicken very well for 30-40 minutes by covering the lid. Fry the chicken in every 5 minutes. When chicken is completely cooked means oil leaves the sides of the pan add garam masala, mix well and switch off the gas.
Now it’s time for layering
Finally we make the layers of the biryani. Take a tadka pan, add 2 tbsp oil, when oil becomes heat add whole spices. After that take a big utensil and add the tadka into it, now spread a layer of rice. Now sprinkle ½ tsp biryani masala, some pudina leaf and then add a layer of chicken. After that, again make a layer of rice and repeat the previous step. Like this we make 3 layers and at the top sprinkle some biryani masala and some pudina leaf.
So here we cover the lid and keep it in the gas in low flame for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes high the gas for 30 seconds and then switch off the gas. Rest the biryani for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes chicken dum biryani is ready to serve. Serve the biryani with dahi raita.
