Aam Panna

Aam Panna is a refreshing drink during this summer. Process of making this summer drink is very easy. Ingredients used in this summer drink make it more delicious. This summer drink is more refreshing while it will served chilled with some ice cubes and some crushed mint leaves. So lets start the refreshing raw mango drink.

Aam Panna

Ingredients

Raw mangoes – 500 gm (approx 2 medium size mangoes)

Salt as per taste

Black salt – 1 tsp

Black paper powder – ½ tsp

Roasted cumin powder – 1 ½ tsp

Sugar – 1 cup (adjust according to your choice)

Ginger – ½ inch

Mint leaf – 10-15

Method

For making this Aam Panna first peel the mangoes then remove all the pulp from its seed and then cut them into small pieces. After that, heat a pan, add 1 litter water, chopped mangoes, salt as per taste, black salt, black paper powder, roasted cumin powder, sugar and ginger. Now give it a nice mix and boil all the ingredients for 15-20 minutes or till the mangoes are completely cooked. If you cut the mangoes smaller pieces it takes less time to cook. So you must check the mangoes while boiling it. When mangoes are becomes soft switch off the gas and keep this aside for completely cool.

Now take a blender jar, add boiled mangoes along with its water and mint leaf, and make a smooth paste. Strain this juice using a strainer this can help us to get a smooth mango panna. Now take a big container, add the mango juice then add 4-5 glass of cold water. You can use more or less sugar as per your choice. Finally our Aam Panna is ready to serve. Egg Masala Gravy

Egg Masala Gravy is the easiest recipe ever and the egg lovers must find this recipe as delicious. This recipe is really going to be very tasty and delicious and the process is also interesting. This recipe is good to serve with roti but you can have this according to your choice. So lets start this recipe.

Ingredients

Boiled egg – 8 no

Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)

Capsicum – 1 medium (finely chopped)

Ginger – 1 inch (finely chopped)

Garlic – 6-8 (finely chopped)

Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)

Tomato – 2 medium (finely chopped)

Soya sauce – 1 tsp

Tomato sauce – 1 tsp

Chicken masala – 1 tsp

Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp or as per your taste

Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

Salt as per your taste

Oil – 3 tbsp

Method

Cooking process of Egg Masala Gravy is very interesting. For making this recipe first peel the boiled eggs and cut them into small pieces like shown in the picture.

Now heat a pan, add oil to it, when oil becomes heat add finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli and fry for 30 seconds on high flame by continuously steering it. After that add finely chopped onion and capsicum and fry all the ingredients for 2 minutes then add soya sauce and again fry for 1 minute. After that add finely chopped tomatoes and salt and mix them very well. Fry the tomato in medium to high flame till it becomes softer.

After tomato becomes soft add tomato sauce, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chicken masala and fry all the ingredients very well. Fry the masala till oil leaves the sides of the pan. When masala is completely done add chopped boiled eggs and mix it with masala very well. After that add 1 cup of water to it and cook it on high flame for 2-3 minutes. So, when the gravy becomes thicker add garam masala and coriander leaves, mix well and switch off the gas. Finally the egg masala gravy is ready.

But if you don’t like juice in this recipe then don’t add water. Fry the eggs with masala for 2-3 minutes after that add coriander leaves and garam masala and switch off the gas. Finally our Egg Masala is ready to serve.

Sweet Chutney

This sweet chutney is mainly used in Dahi Bhalla, Chat and Gol Gappe. Main ingredients of the sweet chutney is jaggery and saunth. Some other spices are also used here to make it more delicious. The main ingredients which I am using here is jaggery and saunth and both are good for our health. This chutney is very healthy and delicious as well. So lets start this chutney without wasting time.

Ingredients

Jaggery (gud) – 250 gm

Water – 1 ½ cup

Saunth – 2 tsp

Dry mango powder ( aamchur powder ) – 1 tsp

Roasted cumin powder – 2 tsp

Black salt – 1 tsp or as per your taste

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Method

For making this chutney first heat a pan, add water to it and then give it a nice boil. Now add saunth powder, dry mango powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt and red chilli powder. Here we very nicely mix all the dry spices with water very well. Keep boiling it for minimum 3-4 minutes on medium to high flame. After 3-4 minutes of boiling the spices with water, add jaggery to it and mix all the ingredients very well. Now boil this mixture for 5-6 minutes or till it becomes thicker.

When the chutney is going to thick switch off the gas. Thickness of the chutney is depends on you. Now keep aside the chutney and let it completely cool. Now our delicious sweet chutney is ready. Dahi Bhalla

Dahi Bhalla is a delicious recipe which is famous in almost every places of india. This recipe takes some more time as compared to other recipes but if we talk about the taste then this is the most delicious among all. This is a super delicious recipe which is a combination of all like chatpata, sweet, salty, spicy and many more tastes. So without wasting time let start the recipe.

Ingredients

For making the vada

Black gram (urad dal) – 2 cup

Rice flour – 2 tbsp

Salt as per taste

Ingredients for dahi

Dahi (curd) – 3 cup

Water – 1 ½ cup

Black salt – 1/2 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 tsp or juice of 1/2 of a lemon

Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp

Crushed ginger – ½ tsp

Salt as per your taste

For tadka

Panch phoron – 1 tsp

Curry leaves – 20 no

Dry red chilli – 4 no

Oil – 2 tsp

Method

For making this Dahi Bhalla first we have to take 2 cup of black gram, soak them with enough water for 4-5 hours. Then nicely wash them and strain all the water. Now make a thick paste of it. Remember don’t add too much of water while grind it, if require then add a little water. Now rest the urad dal paste for 4-5 hours. Resting time is compulsory so don’t skip it.

After that we are going to make the water in which we soak the vada. So for this take a big pan or kadhai or any big utensil, add around 750 ml of water or 2-3 glass of water and add salt as per your taste. Now heat a tadka pan, add 1 tsp oil and let the oil becomes heat. After oil becomes heat add 1/2 tsp panch phoron, 2 dry red chilli, 10 curry leaves and immediately add the tadka into the water. After that boil the water for 2-3 minutes or you can also add the tadka in previously boiled water.

Now we are going to make the dahi. So for this take a big utensil, add dahi, water, black salt, roasted cumin powder, crushed ginger, salt as per your taste, red chilli powder and lemon juice and mix all the ingredients very well. Now it is the time for tadka. Take a tadka pan, add 1 tsp oil and let the oil becomes heat. After oil becomes heat, add ½ tsp panch phoron, 2 dry red chilli, 10 curry leaves and add the tadka to the dahi and mix it well and cover it.

After that we are going to deep fry the vada. Here we take the vada batter, add salt as per your taste and mix it very well. Now check whether it can hold in your palm or not means batter consistency for vada is perfect or not. If it is perfect then deep fry the vada otherwise add some rice flour as per requirement, mix very well and then deep fry the vada. Make all the vada very carefully by using your palm or you can also make vada by using banana leaf or any plastic sheet like milk packet.

After frying the vada add them into the tadka water. Now let the vada soak in the water completely. When you add vada into water it floats and when it was soaked in water completely it deeps in the water. When vada deeps in water means completely soaked, take it out from water, squeeze a little and then deep in dahi. Let the vada soak in dahi for 10-15 minutes. Now the dahi bhalla is ready to serve.

Finally all the cooking process is completely done. So now it is the time for assembling the dahi bhalla. Take a bowl, add 4 dahi bhalle, 1 big spoon of dum aloo, 1/2 spoon green chutney, some sev, pinch of black salt, 1/2 spoon of sweet chutney, some finely chopped onion and pinch of red chilli powder. Here I am telling you one process but you can serve this as per your choice. So you make your own dahi bhalla and enjoy.

Cookies

Cookies are the best evening snacks for everyone. Here I am going to share a cookie recipe without oven. The taste of this cookie is very delicious. This is a best tea time snacks or used as a launch box item as well. Here I am sharing a very simple and easy method of making cookies. So let start the recipe.

Ingredients

All purpose flour (maida) – 4 tbsp

Wheat flour – 2 tbsp

Suji (semolina) – 2 tbsp

Oil – 3 tbsp (for cookies dough)

Milk – 1/2 cup

Sugar – 4 tbsp

Salt to taste

Grated coconut – 4 tbsp

Enough oil for deep frying the cookies

Method

Cookies are the best evening snacks and to make this cookies at home first take a big bowl. Now add maida, wheat flour, suji, oil, sugar, grated coconut, salt as per your taste or 1/2 tsp and mix all the ingredients very well. Now gradually add milk and make a semi soft dough(not too much hard or not too much soft). If your dough becomes sticky add some flour and knead it to make perfect dough. If dough was too hard then add some milk to make the dough perfect.

We need perfect dough for this cookie. After making the dough perfectly rest it for 15 minutes. So after 15 minutes, knead the dough again. For 1-2 minutes.

Now heat a pan and add enough oil for frying the cookie. After that we take a small lemon size portion of the dough, make a small ball using your palm, press it to give the shape of a cookie. After pressing give it a nice shape by using spoon, knife or any other tools available at your kitchen. You can also fry the cookie without giving any shape.

The design gives a nice look so try to give a nice shape otherwise make it without any shape. Here I am using the below tool for giving the shape of the cookie. I am slightly pressing the cookie on the back side of the vegetable channi and give it the beautiful shape. you can also use a strainer which we always use for strain rice.

After that deep fry the cookie in low to medium flame by changing the sides of the cookie. It takes 5-10 minutes for frying the cookie. Above all frying time is totally depends on the thickness of the cookies ( more thicker cookie take more time to cook.).

Fry the cookies till they are turned light golden brown in colour. After that remove them from oil and keep them on tissue paper. Finally our cookie is ready but don’t serve the cookie hot. Let the cookie cool down for 10-15 minutes then serve. In conclusion I telling you that you can also store the cookies for 10-15 day in an air tight container.

Rice flakes Halwa is always being a healthy breakfast for everyone. This is a quick and easy recipe which can be cooked any time. You can also use this recipe as a tiffin box item. Kids also love this recipe.

 Ingredients

2 cups rice flakes (poha)

1½ cup milk

2 tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Salt 1/4 tsp or as per your taste

5-7 cashew nut

Ghee 1/2 tsp

Method

For making this Rice flakes Halwa first heat a pan, add ghee then add cashew nut and fry for 1 minute in low flame. After it becomes light brown colour add milk 1½ cup and water ½ cup. Mix it very well, now add sugar and boil this for 5-7 minutes in high flame by continuously steering the mixture. After boiling it 5 minutes add salt and cardamom powder.

After that wash the rice flakes nicely, squeeze the water using hand and add to the boiled milk. Here we mix the rice flakes with milk on high flame till it becomes thicker. When the rice flakes converted into a thicker texture like halwa switch off the gas. Now the halwa is ready to serve.

I am using here very few ingredients which are easily available in the kitchen that to all of you can make this easily without any difficulty for finding any of the ingredients. This is a delicious halwa with these minimum ingredients but if you want to make it more delicious then add 2-3 tsp condensed milk or you can also use 2 tsp milk powder. More dry fruits like almond, raisin and pistachio can also be used here to make it more tasty. Stuffed Internet Puri

The Stuffed Internet Puri is a very very delicious recipe ever which is good to serve as a breakfast, evening snacks, dinner or any time you like. It takes some more time as compared to normal puri but it tastes better then a normal puri. The ingredients I am using here are easily available at your kitchen. So you must try this recipe at your kitchen.

Ingredients

For dough

All purpose flour (maida) – 2 cups

Oil – 2 tsp

Salt – 1/4 tsp or as per your taste

Enough oil for frying the puri

For stuffing

2 medium size potatoes

Approx 4 inch of carrot or half of a medium size carrot

Turmeric – 1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

Oil – 2 tsp

Salt as per taste

Soya sauce – 1/4 tsp

Tomato sauce – 1 tsp

Corn flour – 1 tsp

Black paper powder – 1/2 tsp

Chicken masala – 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp

Method

When we starts making this stuffed internet puri, firstly, we are going to make the dough. Take a big bowl, add maida, oil, salt and give it a nice mix and make a smooth dough by gradually adding water to it and rest the dough for 15 minutes.

Secondly, we make the stuffing of the puri, for this first we have to nicely wash the potato and carrot, peal them and grate them. After that keep the grated potato and carrot in a bowl with water for 1-2 minutes. This step is necessary because potato changes its colour if we didn’t keep it in water. After 2 minutes strain the water nicely by squeezing with hand and keep in a bowl.

Now heat a pan and add oil to it. After oil becomes heat add cumin seeds, then add grated potato and carrot and give it a nice mix. Fry the potato for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. After that, add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, chicken masala and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Now add soya sauce, tomato sauce and mix well. After that add corn flour and nicely mix it in low flame. After frying this for 2-3 minutes switch off the gas and add black paper powder and mix well. So our stuffing is ready now.

Finally we are going to make the internet puri.  So for making this first divide the dough into smaller pieces like puri. After that take two balls of it and roll out them and keep one puri as it. So here we take the other puri and give it a nice cut like internet as I shown in the picture.

After that take the plain puri, put some stuffing and spread evenly. After that apply some water in the border of the puri with water and then cover the internet cut puri over it and seal the puri by pressing the edges so it can’t be opened during frying it.

Make all the puri similar to the first one. After that deep fry the puri with enough oil from both sides. Finally our internet puri is ready to serve. Water melon juice is the best health drink during summer. This is a delicious and refreshing fruit. Water melon has a lot of health benefits. Ingredients:

2 cups of water melon cut into small pieces or 1/4 of a small water melon

2 tbsp sugar ( you can increase or decrease amount of sugar as per your taste )

2 pinch of black salt

( Adding black salt is not compulsory )

Method:

Water melon juice is always loved by everyone, so for making this healthy juice first we have to take a water melon cut it into 4 pieces. Now take one piece, remove the skin and cut into small pieces. After that remove the seeds of the water melon. Now take a blender jar, add water melon pieces and sugar to it and make a fine paste of it. If requires then add a little water and blend. Don’t add too much of water otherwise taste of this juice is not very good.

After blending into smooth, strain the juice to a bowl. Here our juice is ready to serve. For serving this juice take a glass, add 2 pinch of black salt then add the juice. Now mix it well and serve, if you like then add 2-3 ice cubes. If you don’t like the taste of black salt then skip it.

Urad dal Pan Cake

Urad Dal Pan Cake

Urad Dal Pan Cake is a very tasty, healthy and easy recipe. I can not say that this is quick recipe but if you make the urad dal batter before one day then it could be a very easy and quick recipe for you. You can use this as a tiffin item as well. So try this and enjoy with your family.

Ingredients

Urad dal – 1 cup

Rice flour – 4 tsp

Onion – 1 medium

Curry leave – 10-15 no

Crushed ginger – 1 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Salt as per taste

Oil for backing the vada

Green chilli – 2 no or as you like

Method

For making this Urad dal Pan Cake firstly we have to sock the urad dal with sufficient water for 4-5 hours. Urad dal is of two types one is with skin and another is without skin. So if you are using the urad dal which is without skin, just nicely wash after socking it, strain the water and then make a very thick paste out of it (if required then add a little water for making the paste, remember don’t add too much of water) like we make for vada.

Similarly if you are using urad dal with skin then after socking it for 5 hours rub the dal using your hands for 5-10 minutes or till all skin removes from the dal. After that nicely separate the skin from the dal. Now strain the water from the dal and make a thick paste. Leave the paste for resting 3-4 hours.

After that take a bowl, add urad dal paste, rice flour, finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chilli, crushed ginger, cumin seeds, curry leave, salt as per taste and mix all the ingredients very well. Here we make the pancake in 2 or 3 batches.

After that heat a pan, add 2 tsp oil, spread all over the pan then add 2 big spoon of the urad dal batter. Now spread the batter a little ( approx 1/2 inch )like the picture of the urad dal pan Cake given here, don’t make very thin layer. Here we let the pan cake cooked for 5-7 minutes by covering the lid in low flame.

After 5 minutes flip the side of the pan cake and cook for 2-3 minutes.  Finally it is all done and ready to serve. Serve this urad dal pan cake with tomato sauce and chilli sauce or any chutney you like. You can also serve this pan cake with dum aloo.
