Today I am going to show you the easiest process of paneer curry and the ingredients which I am going to use here are easily available in the market. There is also a lot of health benefits of paneer. So lets start this recipe.
Ingredients
- Paneer 250 gm (cut in to cubes)
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp (Kashmiri red chilli)
- Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
- Masala powder – 2 tsp
- Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
For masala
- Charmagaj – 5 tsp
- Tomato – 1 medium size (chopped without seeds)
- Green chilli – 1 (or according to your taste)
- Jeera – 1/2 tsp
- Cinamon stick – 1 small piece
- Bay leaf – 1 small no.
- Chopped ginger – 1 tsp
Method
When are going to cook paneer curry first we have to lightly fry the paneer cubes. Take all the masala which are listed under “For masala”, put them into a blender jar make a fine paste of it.
Put the pan on gas (on low flame), add oil (don’t let the oil heat), add red chilli powder and immediately add the masala paste, now put the gas on medium flame and mix the masala. Add turmeric to it mix well. Fry the masala till oil leave the sides. Now add masala powder, salt and fry for 1-2 minutes. When the masala is done add 2 cup of water give it a boil, now add the fried paneer , mix it well, cook it for 2 minutes. Finally add kasuri methi and garam masala to it then mix it well. Garnish the paneer curry with coriander leaf and serve with paratha or naan.
